#1: Looking down on the confluence from the road to Panorama Point, the highest point in Nebraska.

(visited by d p)

05-Sep-2018 -- Even though I only saw two people and one other car in a couple hours, there’s a lot going on around this remote confluence which is a little over two hours east of Denver. I didn't see anyone and was unsure whether I was on a public right of way, so I didn’t zero out on the confluence. About a mile to the northeast is Panorama Point, which is the highest point in Nebraska. It is on a buffalo ranch, and the car-sized animals blocked the trail to the high point for a while. A couple miles west is the point where Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska come together. A dark, cloudy day for my visit to a beautiful spot on the High Plains.
