29-Dec-2021 -- We are coming from the exhibition on the Lascaux Cave in Montignac. Until Brive La Gaillarde, we take the larger road - marked "red" in our road atlas.

Before visiting the CP, we drive to the viewpoint Rer du Peintre. There you have an impressive view into the Georges de Cere. The place is also a nice place to sleep, but it is too early for us. Around 3:45 pm we park the bus at the road junction northwest of the CP, ready to start rolling. The path is a bit further and we have to crawl under the lowest barbed wire of the pasture fence once again - on very, very wet ground.

Maybe it's easier at the bathtub southwest of the CP, you're in the right pasture right away.

We continue towards the volcano Puy Mary.

We spend the evening in the very pretty little village of Salers.

The lady in the small tobacconist's bar tells us that the sun will shine the next day but that the road over the pass at Pu Mary is closed. We can't imagine the sun shining.

We sleep at the municipality's campsite for campervans.
