28-Dec-2021 -- Wir verbringen zwei Tage in Bordeaux und begaben uns, am ersten Tag unserer Rückreise, zuerst auf dem Weg zum Ozean zum CP im Seekiefernwald.

Wir parken an der Asphaltstraße neben dem Wasserbecken. Wir laufen dann auf dem Waldweg, bis das GPS die optimale Entfernung anzeigt. Hier beginnt ein extrem schwerer „Gang“ durch das Unterholz aus Ginster, der zwischen den Kiefern-Reihen wuchert. Die Chancen auf alle Nullen erschienen gering, zumal das GPS immer wieder andere Werte anzeigte.

Ohne die Aufzeichnung auf dem GPS wäre der Weg zurück viel schwerer geworden. Es hat noch nicht zu regnen begonnen. Aber auch so sind wir völlig verdreckt und bis auf die Haut durchnässt.

Der Bus springt sofort an und wir fahren an den Ozean. Dort beginnt der, von nun an anhaltende, Regen mit Westwind. Ein ganz kurzer Blick über die Sanddüne am Pointe du Cap Ferret genügte uns.

Wir starteten mit der Fahrt nach Osten und wollten durch die Weinberge zur Fähre nach Blaye. Diese fährt im Winter aber nur selten und so kauften wie im Dorfladen von Lamarque einige Flaschen regionalen Wein und fahren auf schneller Straße weiter Richtung Osten.

Den Abend verbringen wir in der schönen Altstadt von Périgueux, die Nacht auf einem Parkplatz beim Parc Paysager De Lamoura. Am Morgen regnet es immer noch. Wir fahren als erstes nach Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère und von da zur Ausstellung zu Höhle von Lascaux in Montignac.

Unbedingt zu empfehlen!!! Die einzige Führung in Englisch ist derzeit 11:00 Uhr.

28-Dec-2021 -- We spent two days in Bordeaux. On the first day of our return journey, we at first made our way to the ocean to the CP in the maritime pine forest.

We parked on the asphalt road next to the water basin. Then we walk along the forest path until the GPS shows the optimum distance. Here begins an extremely difficult "walk" through the undergrowth of gorse that sprawls between the rows of pines. The chances of hitting all zeros seemed very low, especially as the GPS kept showing different values.

Without the recording on the GPS, the way back would have been much harder. It hasn't started to rain yet. Even though, we are completely filthy and soaked to the skin. The bus starts immediately and we drive to the ocean.

There the rain begins, which will continue from now on, with a westerly wind. A very short look over the sand dune at the Pointe du Cap Ferret was enough for us.

We started driving east and wanted to go through the vineyards to the ferry to Blaye. The ferry rarely runs in winter, so we bought a few bottles of regional wine at the village shop in Lamarque and continued east on the fast road.

We spend the evening in the beautiful old town of Périgueux. We spend the night in a car park near the Parc Paysager De Lamoura. In the morning it is still raining. First we drive to Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère and from there to the Lascaux Cave exhibition in Montignac.

Definitely recommendable! The only guided tour in English is currently at 11:00 am.
