09-Aug-2022 -- After (re)visiting [39,-77], I drove eastwards across the impressive Chesapeake Bay Bridge to the Delmarva Peninsula. When I reached the eastern side of Chesapeake Bay, I stopped for an obligatory meal of crab cakes - the local (though expensive) specialty. I then continued to this Degree Confluence Point, which lies just 0.11 miles South of a paved road.
The point lies in an overgrown farm field. Just to the West is another field, planted with corn. The grass around the point was damped down, which told me that other people had visited this point quite recently (probably even more recently than Rainer Mautz and Elionora in May).
Here is a remote-controlled aerial video of this confluence point.
