14-Aug-2022 -- Tras casi 11 años desde la última visita documentada a esta confluencia, me decido a visitarla, ya que he descubierto hace poco este tema de las confluencias, y me queda cerca del pueblo de mi padre: Oseja de Sajambre.

Después de un día de disfrute en BTT, recorriendo TAMARIA: Los senderos del Monte Vindio, hago una parada de vuelta a casa, y busco el mejor acceso a esta confluencia.

Dejo el coche en un aparcamiento habilitado a la orilla de la carretera, y localizo un sendero entre matojos, que da acceso a una majada herbosa en la que suele pastar el ganado (a estas horas de la tarde, no veo ninguna vaca cerca).

Subo por la campa, GPS en mano, y cuando ya estoy cerca de las coordenadas, tengo que adentrarme entre las escobas para acceder al punto donde consigo todos los ceros, y una precisión de 3 metros.

El lugar resulta ser un claro entre las escobas, con pocas vistas, pero con espacio suficiente para hacer las fotos pertinentes para el registro.

Tras ello decido subir unos pocos metros hacia lo alto de la loma, y ahí sí que se puede disfrutar de unas bonitas vistas hacia Riaño y el embalse homónimo que sepultó 7 pueblos con gran polémica, oposición e historias de desgracias entre los habitantes del valle.

Vuelvo sobre mis pasos y llego al coche sin problema, y con la satisfacción de completar mi primera visita a una confluencia.

After almost 11 years since the last documented visit to this confluence, I decide to visit it, since I have recently discovered this topic of the confluences, and it is close to the village of my father: Oseja de Sajambre.

After a day of enjoyment on BTT, touring TAMARIA: The trails of Monte Vindio, I make a stop on the way home, and look for the best access to this confluence.

I leave the car in a designated parking lot on the side of the road, and locate a path between bushes, which gives access to a grassy fold where cattle usually graze (at these afternoon hours, I don't see any cows nearby).

I go up the field, GPS in hand, and when I'm close to the coordinates, I have to go between the brooms to access the point where I get all the zeros, and 3 meters of accuracy.

The place turns out to be a clearing between the brooms, with no excelent views, but with enough space to take relevant photos for registration.

After that I decide to climb a few meters to the top of the hill, and there you can enjoy beautiful views towards Riaño and the homonymous reservoir that buried 7 villages with great controversy, opposition and stories of misfortune among the inhabitants of the valley.

I retrace my steps and reach the car without problem, and with the satisfaction of completing my first visit to a confluence.
