01-May-2023 -- This is the 3rd out of 9 reports reaching or attempting confluence points during a one-week bicycle trip in Northern Spain from Santiago de Compostela to Barcelona. The story starts from 43°N 8°W and continues from 43°N 7°W.
I spent the night in the town Vilablino which is 35 km west of this confluence point. The general terrain is mountainous, but the location of this point is in a wide valley and can therefore easily visited. It is 65 m from a little asphalted road on a cow paddock.
It was a beautiful morning. Due to the high elevation, spring had just started here.
The nice thing about bicycle touring combined confluencing is: you can reach approximately one confluence point per day. Therefore, you have every day another goal which takes you to small county roads off the beaten track.
