23-Apr-2016 -- We always combine the development of confluence points with a day hike of between 20 and 40 km. On the edge of the eastern Black Forest, already close to the Lake Constance region, the 48 x 09 was hiked. The starting point was Tuttlingen, which, contrary to all expectations, is not a pearl in the region, although its location in the Danube valley, with the flow of the Danube, which is not that powerful here, would have all the prerequisites for it. The starting point in Meßkirch and the villages along the hike corresponded exactly to what one imagines there as a cliché. The course of the border between the states of Swabia and Baden is somewhat confused in the region. There are enclaves or rather peninsulas of one tribe in the territory of the other, so that we may have crossed the border several times. However, we didn't hear any difference in the dialect. The last 3 of the approximately 27 kilometers took place in heavy rain. Hence the special thanks to all fellow hikers for accompanying us on this beautiful, pointless undertaking.

23-Apr-2016 -- Wir verbinden die Erschließung von Konfluenzpunkten immer mit einer Tageswanderung zwischen 20 – 40 km. Am Rande des östlichen Schwarzwaldes, schon in der Nähe der Bodenseeregion, wurde der 48 x 09 erwandert. Ausgangspunkt war Tuttlingen, welches entgegen aller Erwartung keine Perle der Region ist, obwohl es mit der Lage im Donautal, mit dem Durchfluss der hier noch gar nicht so mächtigen Donau, alle Voraussetzungen dafür hätte. Dafür entsprach der Startpunkt Meßkirch und die Dörfer entlang der Wanderung genau dem, was man sich dort klischeehaft vorstellt. Etwas konfus ist in der Region der Verlauf der Grenze der Landsmannschaften Schwaben und Baden. Dort gibt es Enklaven oder vielmehr Halbinseln des einen Volksstammes im Gebiet des anderen, so dass wir wohl mehrfach die Grenze überquert haben dürften. Im Dialekt haben wir allerdings keinen Unterschied gehört. Die letzten 3 der rund 27 Kilometer verliefen im Starkregen. Daher der besondere Dank an alle Mitwanderer für die Begleitung, bei dieser schönen wie sinnfreien Unternehmung.
