21-Mar-2025 -- Dieses war der 2. CP (von insgesamt 14) auf unserer 3-wöchigen SoFi-Spanien/Portugaltour 2025 – erster CP der Tour war 41°N 3°W gewesen.

Unser Navi führte uns von Osten kommend über die N 110 in die Nähe des CPs. Circa 2 km vor der Ortschaft „Torrecaballeros“ parkte ich unser WoMo im Bereich der Zufahrt zu einer (wichtig daherkommenden) Antennenanlage in ca. 750 Meter Entfernung vom CP. (Bild 8) Ich überquerte die N 110, überstieg ein kleineres Steinmäuerchen und ging dann direkt auf den CP zu. Auf der Wiese waren zahlreiche Rindviecher anzutreffen (Bild 7); zum Glück aber „ordentlich gruppiert“ abseits meiner CP-Route (Entfernung ca. 150-200 Meter) und eher uninteressiert, so dass man sich gut aus dem Weg gehen konnte. Dennoch hatte ich immer ein wachsames Auge auf die Kollegen, nicht dass da einer plötzlich im Schweinsgalopp auf mich zuhält.

Der CP war dann schnell gefunden und die notwendigen Fotos gemacht; die obere Antennenkonstruktion war deutlich im Norden sichtbar. Danach zurück zum WoMo und nach insgesamt ca. 30 Minuten ging es für uns weiter ins nahe gelegene Segovia, wo wir in den Außenbezirken übernachteten. (Bilder 9 und 10; Kathedrale und römisches Aquädukt). Nächster CP war anderentags dann 40°N 4°W

21-Mar-2025 -- This was the 2nd CP (of 14) on our 3-week solar eclipse campingcartour to Spain and Portugal 2025 – the tour had started at 41°N 3°W

Coming from easterly direction our navi led us to the CP via N 110. Approx. 2 km before the village „Torrecaballeros“ I parked our campingcar beside a track leading towards a huge antenna area in a distance of approx. 750 meters beeline to the CP. I crossed the road, climbed over a small stone wall and walked towards the CP. There where lots of cattle on the meadow, fortunately „well-grouped“ in a distance of approx. 150-200 meters and in a „non-attack-mode“, so I could easily evade the problem. Nevertheless I always had an eye on those vagabonds in case one of them should change his mind and start an attack on me.

The CP was found and located fast; the antenna-top was still visible from the CP (pic. direction north). After taking the pictures same way back to the campingcar – and after some 30 minutes we drove towards nearby Segovia (pic. 9 and 10) where we passed the night. Next CP next day was 40°N 4°W
