23-Mar-2025 -- Dieses war der 4. CP (von insgesamt 14) auf unserer 3-wöchigen SoFi-Spanien/Portugaltour 2025 – erster CP der Tour war 41°N 3°W gewesen.

Nun kamen wir von 40°N 4°W und unser Navi führte uns von Südwesten kommend direkt auf die Strasse „CC 18.2“ an welcher dieser CP liegt. Mangels tauglicher Parkmöglichkeiten fuhr ich zunächst am CP vorbei; ca. 250 Meter später konnte ich unser WoMo dann linkerhand in einer kleinen Bucht parken. (Bild 8)

Beim Zurücklaufen entlang der Strasse Richtung CP registrierte ich missmutig einen doch unangenehm hohen und standfesten Zaun, der das CP-Gebiet umfasst. Glücklicherweise war direkt bei der kürzesten CP-Distanz, also genau dort wo man die Straße verlassen wollte, der Zaun in eine kleine Steinmauer integriert. (Bild 7, gefertigt auf Rückweg vom CP-Grundstück). Man konnte problemlos erst über die Mauer und von dort unter dem (an dieser Stelle deutlich verkleinerten) Zaun durchsteigen. Der Rest ging zackig – über die Wiese zum CP marschiert – lokalisiert, Fotos gemacht und auf gleichem Weg zurück.

Alles in allem keine 15 Minuten – danach stand eine Rundtour durch das Jertetal (Kirschblüte) und ein „Aufstieg in die Wolken und den Schnee“ auf den „Mirador de Francia“ an. (Bild 9) Nächster CP war dann 39°N 6°W

23-Mar-2025 -- This was the 4th CP (of 14) on our 3-week solar eclipse campingcartour to Spain and Portugal 2025 – the tour had started at 41°N 3°W

By now we came from 40°N 4°W and – coming from south-westerly direction – our navi led us this directly to road „CC 18.2“ where the CP is located. I had to pass the CP; after 250 meters I could park our campingcar lefthand in a small lay-by. (pic. 8)

When walking back the raod towards the CP I noticed a solid fence protecting the CP meadow. Fortunately just beside the CP the fence was combined with a small stonewall (pic. 7, taken on way back from CP meadow) – this combination made it easy to first climb the stonewall and then „dive under the fence“. Then it was an easy and fast job – walking towards the CP, taking the pictures and then same way back to the campingcar.

After approx. 15 minutes we continued our journey first through the Jerte-valley (known for the cherry blossom) and then up in the clouds and in the snow to the mirador “pena de Francia” (pic. 9) Next CP next day was 39°N 6°W
