25-Jun-2025 -- Nachdem wir am Vormittag den Confluenzpunkt N43 E2 besucht hatten, brachte uns unsere Reise auf einen kleinen, sehr gemütlichen Campingplatz in der Nähe von Saint-Jean-d`Alcapiés. Nach einem ganzen Tag im Auto, hatte ich Lust noch eine Runde mit dem Fahrrad zu drehen und plante mir eine schöne Runde welcher mich, nicht ganz zufällig, an dem CP N44 E3 vorbei brachte. Nach zwei heftigen Anstiegen befand ich mich auf der Bundesstraße D77 aus Richtung Westen kommend. Zwischen der Straße und dem Feld auf welchem sich der CP befindet war dichter Bewuchs. Also folgte ich der D77 bis ans Feld-Ende wo ich den Bewuchs umfahren konnte und fuhr auf dem Feld zurück direkt zum Confluenzpunkt. Nach wenigen Minuten hatte ich mit dem GPS den genauen Punkt gegen 17:40Uhr erreicht und erfreute mich an dem Besuch, der Bewegung auf dem Fahrrad und dem schönen Wetter.

Meine Gedanken waren wieder bei unserem schmerzlich vermissten Freund Hansen OhneSorge - "Lieber Hansen, dieser und alle weiteren Besuche widme ich dir." -

Nach einer kurzen Pause setzte ich meine Fahrt fort und hatte auf dem Rückweg noch einen sehr heftigen, verblockten Anstieg und eine tolle Abfahrt vor mir :)

25-Jun-2025 -- After visiting the N43 E2 confluence point in the morning, our journey took us to a small, very cozy campsite near Saint-Jean-d'Alcapiés. After a whole day in the car, I felt like going for a bike ride and planned a nice route that, not entirely by chance, took me past the N44 E3 CP.

After two steep climbs, I found myself on the D77 federal highway coming from the west. There was dense vegetation between the road and the field where the CP is located. So I followed the D77 to the end of the field, where I was able to bypass the vegetation and cycled back through the field directly to the confluence point. After a few minutes, I reached the exact spot using the GPS at around 5:40 pm and enjoyed the visit, the exercise on the bike, and the beautiful weather. My thoughts returned to our sorely missed friend Hansen OhneSorge - "Dear Hansen, I dedicate this and all future visits to you." -

After a short break, I continued my ride, and on the way back I still had a very steep, rocky climb and a great descent ahead of me :)
