12-Sep-2001 -- I found myself stranded in Buffalo, NY with no flight home after the tragedy of September 11, 2001. I was able to rent a car. I started the drive home on September 12.

I was able to get close to this CP on good roads and then to park in a public parking area. It is in an area called a State Hunting Preserve.

I began walking along a trail and began to hear shooting. Soon I was at a shooting range which was in use.

I tooking my readings there as the daylight was fading and because I didn't want to get in the way of any bullets. Sorry about the poor picture quality.
