24-Jun-2003 -- Continued from 27S 18E.

After the disappointment at 27S 18E we took the D459 turn-off at Goageb, turning right a bit later onto the D446. The Confluence lies about 500 m off this road.

From the Confluence the road follows a beautiful river valley to Aus. We spent two nights at Klein Aus just outside Aus and drove down to Lüderitz on the day in-between to visit the old ghost mining town of Kolmanskop.
