27-Mar-2004 -- A quick weekend trip to the Dallas-Fort Worth area called for a quick confluence hunt, although this would not be considered much of a hunt by any standard.
I expected an easy visit and that's in fact what I got, as it turns out, this confluence was in an office plaza on the side of the road between the DFW Airport and the hotel I was going to. In fact, this confluence is only about 2 miles from the north exit of the DFW airport.
I pulled in off Business Hwy 121 and found a very large and empty parking lot at Convergence Plaza, with the exception of a landscaping crew. I parked the car as close as I could to the confluence and walked into a courtyard type area within the plaza to take the photos. The landscaping crew seemed slightly concerned with my presence, and in fact may have called 'security', which came in the form of a large red pickup truck and a Texan. He kind of parked next to my car and sort of blocked me in, but I was gone and on my way before he could say "buckin' bronco."
A very easy and very overcast visit.
