14-Feb-2016 -- This is the last out of seven reports on confluence visits during our road trip across the USA. The story starts at 39°N 77°W and continues from 31°N 96°W.
My flight from Dallas back to Zurich was scheduled at 10:30 AM. Starting at 8 AM from our hotel in Lewisville was sufficient to catch both: the confluence point and my flight. The 3 km drive from Lewisville to the confluence took only 5 minutes. It is located in an office area with public access. There are offices of Texas Instruments, JP Morgan, and many more. Since it was a Sunday, we were the only people in the business park. I feared that our presence would attract attention to the security, but in fact we had an undisturbed visit.
It couldn’t be easier: there is an official parking lot in 40 m distance. A short walk over the lawn and you are at the confluence point. The Convergence office building is right next to the point – it is a lucky point, because there are fenced areas nearby that would be difficult to enter.
Unfortunately, I had to work in Zurich on Monday such that I could not join the three sisters on their way to California. Obviously they had fun with visiting confluence points since they asked for my handheld GPS to pick up more confluences on their way to the West.
