01-May-2004 -- Shortly after getting to know the DC Project I decided to visit one of the confluences. I decided to combine it with a bike ride so I chose this confluence as it is close to the Canal de Castilla (Castilla's Channel), an old navigation channel build in the XVIII century to carry grain on barges.
I left in the early morning from Madrid on my way to Valladolid and Medina de Rioseco. After that there is a narrow road leading to Tamariz de Campos that passes only 150 away from the CP.
The confluence is an easy one as it is only some meters away from this narrow road surrounded by barley fields. It is quite simple to get there by feet now that the barley is still very short.
After visiting the CP I decided to ride my bike and have a pleasant jorney along the Castilla's Channel enjoing the birds and castles on both sides.
