16-Aug-2004 -- A planned visit to Vienna gave me the idea of visiting some of the confluences along the 47th parallel, all situated at various points south of the A1 motorway, the main road from Salzburg to Vienna.

Travelling with my son Michael who had been with me on my first CP visit to N48 E13 we drove along the A1 from Salzburg leaving the motorway at the Vorchdorf turn off, headed towards Pettenbach, but after the village of Fischboeckau passed a parking place on the right and took the next left towards Spieldorf. At Spieldorf we turned right and shortly aftertook the left following the "Jausenstation" signs mentioned in previous visitors reports.

We parked the car close to to CP and strolled down a path crossing an already harvested field to the CP. We took the usual photos and headed back to the car. From there it was back to the A1 and N48 E15
