22-Oct-2004 -- Dave Kuhns, Frank Kuzniar and I decided to come out and attempt this confluence while we were camping nearby in Blair Valley. Once we arrived at the base of the mountian we all knew that we were in for a tough hike. We decided to take the small ridge up to the closet peak to the road and then angle back towards the confluence from that point. It was a tough hike up this first peak and we had to use hands and feet a few times near the the top because it was very steep. Once we got to the top it was a fairly easy hike over to the confluence with a relatively small uphill left to get to the point.
We were all very exited when we arrived at the confluence and we hung out for a while enjoying the view and resting a bit. We decided to go down through the natural wash, which involved a mile of boulder hopping but was less steep.
