31-Dec-2009 -- Another year end, another new year's eve, another confluence visit.

Last year I visited this point on New Year's Eve, so why not go back again and start a new tradition?

We have had some snow this December (quite unusual) and some very heavy rain, so I was looking up at the skies when I got up this morning. Dry and cold but ok.

On the way out stop off at Tesco's to collect my wife's birthday cake - she will be the same that I was when I last visited this point. While there I bumped into my youngest daughter Dani.

Onwards to the CP, the sheep are still there. I did see someone standing at the back of the agricultural supplies place watching me but it was so cold they soon went back indoors!

On the way back I detoured via the entrance to Turweston Aerodrome, an old WW2 Raf Bomber base.
