#1: The point, just between an old pine and a young beech

(visited by Jean-Luc Frérotte)

English

29-May-2013 -- After the visit of the point 53N-7E, I continue towards the point 52N-7E. On the highway A31, I take the exit 32, direction Legden, then I follow the road K33 from Legden to Stadtlohn. The point is in a forest not far from the road.

I park the car close to the monument that is already described by my predecessors; it is right at the edge of the road, at about 200 m to the confluence according to WGS84 system. It's still raining and the ground in the forest is very wet with many puddles around.

The point is in a forest of oaks and beeches. According to the GPS, the point is right between a large pine and a young beech. Because of the leaves cover, it takes a while to get all the zeros, but finally I get them. In the surroundings, there are some young holly and clover.

I continue my trip to the next point: 51N-7E.
