22-Aug-2005 -- We thought it would be an easy visit, having read the report of Michel Dupuis and Christian Nabarro. It proved to be a bit more difficult (the road we intended to take coming from the west coast appeared to end in an industrial zone), but all in all it was a doable visit. A nice birthday present!
For those who wish to visit this confluence in the future: turning the car on the dirt road is a bit difficult. It might be best to park it near the water tower and walk the remaining 250-300 meters. Furthermore, there's a small ditch beside the road that is fairly steep.
For determining the location, we used our Royaltek RBT3000 GPS in combination with OziExplorer on an iPAQ. We ended up on the exact location, bearing in mind the default GPS error. On the spot, we were tracking 7 satellites, so I guess (our GPS didn't report it) that we were within 5 meters or less of the exact location.
