01-Nov-2005 -- Heading to Reno form the Owens Valley I decided to go by way of Yerington and check out the "World Famous" Hendricks Well. I lucked out - just as I arrived a tour bus was leaving so I got a choice parking spot (N38*59.986--W118*59.323) which is just under .6miles from the confluence. It was pretty windy but still warm in the late afternoon. The confluence is located on a hillside a few feet below a ridge. I went to the top of the hill to take my pics instead of taking a North pic of a hillside.
I planned on having lunch when I returned to Hendricks Well at about 4pm, but the chef had left for the day.
