22-Jun-2007 -- A few days in Wisconsin including a kayak trip on the Wisconsin river gave an excuse for a study of the map to see if there were any convenient points. I was staying in Milwaukee and there is a point right in the city and then our journey took us almost 2 degrees due west – past 2 other points. We set off a couple hours early for the start of the kayak trip and drove to this point. It is already well documented so the approach was easy. The fire hydrant and geese painted on the garage door are very distinctive. Unfortunately I did not remember to look for the plaque - I hope it is still there. Quick photos and move on to 43N 89W.
