That confluence point lies on a residential street in a suburb of Chicago; this confluence point lies on a residential street in a suburb of Milwaukee - the next major city to the north. It's interesting that these two major cities are located on adjacent lines of latitude, and on the same line of longitude.

This was a very easy confluence point to reach, although - because some of the nearby residents were watching from their porches - I didn't complete the 'confluence dance' to get 'all zeros' on my GPS receiver, because I didn't want to appear suspicious. Instead I settled for a GPS reading 37 feet from the point.
