20-Nov-2011 -- It seems that I’ve been bit by the confluence bug. My first confluence was 45N 90W in Marathon County. I had such a fun time, I thought I’d visit more around the state. I’d start off in my backyard (Milwaukee, WI) well really it’s a suburb of Milwaukee. The confluence is located in City of West Allis.

Sunday I started out the morning by visiting 43N 88W confluence. With GPS and camera in hand I made it to the confluence in no time. As I pulled to the side and parked the car, my GPS said I have arrived. First thing I looked for was the commemorative plaque located on the ground. After taking a photo of the plaque and the general area I followed the GPS right to “Ground Zero”. I celebrated my second confluence visit and headed off to do some Geocaching in the area.
