20-Jan-2008 -- This point is located in the middle of the Kanto plain, the largest plain in Japan. It is 60Km away from a coastline but only 11 meters above sea level. This means it is good area for rice fields. When I visited here tree years ago, it was in July. The area around the confluence were filled with water and under rice. So I could not reach the zero point.
It's a winter time now. Rice fields is dried, and nothing are planted. I could easily reach the completely zero point.
It was almost same view in all directions.
