19-Jan-2008 -- Diane and I visited this confluence on a VERY cold and windy afternoon. We drove west along US Highway 12 from Ypsilanti, Michigan where we were visiting with family members. We enjoyed the drive through the Irish Hills and through Jonesville which claims to be the Antique Capital of America.
We soon reached Coldwater, Michigan, the county seat of Branch County. We turned north on Marshall Street where we passed the Sheriff's office and a multi-building correctional facility.
We turned east on Bidwell Road. The confluence comes up very quickly after the turn and we overshot it a bit, made a U-turn and returned to within about 20 meters of the intersection.
I hopped out and took four quick photos of the cardinal directions. Then we waited in the car for the GPS to "settle down." It soon showed us to be within 3 meters of the confluence. We never saw ten zeroes, but we saw nine, which was close enough!
Thanks for getting us out!
