13-May-2008 -- This year I had the quest to visit all remaining German confluences located on my "home" latitude and longitude 49°N/012°E.

A trip from northern Germany to my hometown gave me the opportunity to make a detour and visit the point. When I reached the town of Grube I drove my car to the house, which can be seen on the south view photo. I asked for permission to park my car to have a short break and the man in the garden kindly granted.

After a very short stroll of about 50 meters I reached the point, which is located just beside the road. The photos were quickly taken and I nearly managed to zero out my SiRFstarIII GPS mouse with 4 decimal digits! After the short break I continued my long journey back home with the satisfying feeling that the last point of my quest was conquered!
