05-Aug-2020 -- This the seventh of 14 CP visits made during a road trip through the Czech republic and Germany.

The previous is N53 E13.

The next is N53 E11.

After a nice breakfast at our Pension in the town of Treskow, by the Ruppinersee, near Neuruppin, we headed off towards N53 E12 on what would be the first of 4 CPs during a long marathon day.

This first CP would turn out to be an easy one to visit - again we did not check out the terrain before hand. We arrived at 10:10 and parked the car in a safe place about 300 metres from the CP as we did not want to park on the main road. We visited the cemetary in Grube just before we got to the CP, then took the necessary photos, returned to the car and headed off to the next CP.

On the way to the next CP, for a break we stopped at the beautiful Arendsee for a short walk and a coffee and cake. The circumnavigation of the lake was 9.6km which was a bit too far to walk for us - pity we did not have our bikes with us. Also we had more important things to do, i.e get to the next CP !!
