27-Jan-2009 -- Being on a trip to southern Belgium, I did not expect to visit 5 confluences in 5 countries within one week only (Belgium, France, Luxemburg, Germany and Russia)...

I came from the highway between Cologne and Liège and had a massive traffic jam on my way further on towards Brussels. So I decided to arrive later in the hotel that evening and to drive through the Belgian Ardennes. It was very foggy that day but just some minutes before I arrived at the confluence, the sun came out, fantastic!

The confluence is only some meters away from the road and I found it very fast and took my photos. An idea grew in my mind: Finding the next confluence in western direction, N50/E004 in France... So I returned quickly to the car and enjoyed the wonderful drive through the Ardennes... Continued at 50N-04E.
