15-Aug-2000 -- A walk through the woods.

Ending a great Holiday week-end that had started with a wonderful trip to Epernay and the successful visit of N49 E04, we thought that while still having Pierre's GPS on loan (thanks again Pierre!) we might as well visit the last albeit unofficial confluence in Belgium.

The weather was so-so but after a shower on the freeway en route, it started to improve. The confluence is located near Haut-Fays, a small village of the Belgian Ardennes. We found the confluence in the woods off the road between Haut-Fays and Gedinne. Getting there was relatively easy, save a couple patches of dense bushes. We finally got the appropriate reading on the GPS in a pretty clearing.

Murphy's Law: sunshine broke 20 minutes after we left the place. Well, anyway, woods is woods, right?
