An easy hunt for change
In the past, whenever Sierra joining the hunt, it often became long and complicated. Thankfully, this one turned out to be an extremely easy one – less than an hour of freeway drive and we did not make a single wrong turn. With the aid of Google map, all the guess work was eliminated.
The trip stated in Sarasota where Sierra attended an art college fair at the Ringling school of art. One way drive from Sarasota to the point was about 80 km. This confluence located right next to the access road of the Toll Road connecting Tampa and Orlando, right across from the Lakeland airport. We park the car on the access road, about 20 meters from the confluence point. The confluence point located at the edge of a pond but the fence of the access road prevented us from completing the last 20 meters.
On the way, we visited a manatee colony near Apollo beach. The warm water came out of a giant power plant seem to be the source of happiness for this huge congregation of manatees. Aside from the primary purpose of attending the school fair, this easy hunt and checking out the manatees was the sum of our one day trip to Florida.
