06-Jul-2009 -- This is the 72^nd of a series of 83 confluence visits during our voyage from Nigeria to Europe and back to Nigeria around the entire African continent. It all started on 28 January 2008 at 11N 5E.

The night we spent on a farm at the Tiras Mountains. This morning we travelled on the C13 towards Helmeringhausen. At Helmeringhausen, which consists only of a petrol station, guesthouse, general supply depot, and a coffee shop, we continued for 22 km on the C14 till the turnoff onto the D417.

A couple of hundred meters on this road leads you 400 m to the Confluence.
