16-May-2011 -- As retired people we are fairly free to dispose of our time. We were going from Oslo to Stavanger on the west coast, about 570 km, but decided to take the long road about 1800 km through Sweden and Denmark and see if we could pick up some confluence points, some exhibitions and some concerts or plays on the way.
As we started out from Oslo we loaded a CD with at novel by Jonas Jonasson: “The centenarian who climbed out the window and disappeared”. On his hundredth birthday the old peoples’ home was arranging a party for him with politicians and other grand people present. The old man did not want this and escaped, got involved with a MC gang and their 10 million dollars and things started happening in south Sweden in areas and on roads that we were on to reach the confluence point. We almost felt we were part of the events.
The GPS took us on a narrow graveled road. The cp was only 70 m into the forest. An easy visit.
