25-Dec-2000 -- On Christmas day my daughter Carlotta and I
took a 40 kilometres northbound trip with the car from Gothenburg to
the confluence of lat 58 north and long 12 east. The confluence is
situated in the northern part of Svartedalens nature conservations area.
The weather was pretty chilly around 7 centigrade below zero and
the sun was shining from a very low position on a entirely blue sky. The
confluence is situated only about 45 meters from a little road in the
woods about 10 kilometres from the coastline of the Bohuslän county.
The terrain was very bad with cliffs and brushwood. It took me about
20 minutes to find a passable way to the confluence.
After visiting the confluence we took a short walk to a nice little lake
about 500 meters north of the confluence and even made a little trip out
on the newly frozen ice.
