26-Jun-2011 -- We started to visit two confluences in the south of Hamburg just to do anything more or less useful on this sunday.
The 53N 10E confluence is in the wide area of the artillery shooting ranges of the military training ground Munster, but it is free obtainable, no closed roads.
The confluence is in the vicinity of a small road and a single track railroad (which is crossed by the road with a bridge).
We decided to climb down from the road and fought against a lot of gadflies and other vampire insects to find the exact point between the trees.
We found a bunch of wooden plugs down there - looks like a repository for a vampire hunter .-)
Its a typical forest type for this region with mixed pines and broadleaf trees.
