24-Jul-2011 -- On a rainy Sunday we started our visit of the CP. Driving on the highway through Upper Austria and crossing the border to Salzburg. After leaving the highway we passed several beautiful lakes. With the GPS device it was quite easy to reach the final area. We left the car behind and started to walk.

According to our detailed map the CP should be reachable within a 5 minute walk. First we knocked at the door of a farmyard, the owner opened and he was very friendly. We got the permission to enter his property. Even more, he explained roughly where to go.

We walked down the small street until we reached a raised hide. From here we entered a meadow always keeping an eye on the GPS device. After about 100 m we reached the target. The CP is located inside a meadow very close to a corn field. The surrounding area is hilly with wood in the NE. A good area for hiking or riding on a horseback.

By the way, the rain stopped as soon as we got out of the car and started again when we left the CP with the car.
