19-Oct-2013 -- Back in California for the second trip this year. This time I attended the ASA annual meeting (asa.org) in San Francisco to report on results from our team.
As usual during these professional trips I save a few days for tourism around the meeting area. But this time I haven’t much time left to devote to CP visits so I choose 3 points that were really easy to reach as they lie very close to a road. We successively visited N38 W122, N39 W121 and N38 W121.
N38 W121 is very easy to reach as it is located on the road side as previously described by other vistors. The Linden area seems entirely devoted to the farming of walnuts and the harvest wasn’t started at the time of our visit. Not much else to see in the area ; at most I am able to confirm that the house located meters west of the confluence is still abandoned.
