28-Jun-2014 -- Stopped the car at the entrance of a lane between a corn/maize field and some bungalows. I walked down a few hundred meters, climbed a gate and was met by a sign about a conservation area. So I walked at the edge of the maize field until I was 55 metres from the confluence point. It turned out to be on the other side of a huge hedge and probably a fence too. I was running out of time so I decided that distance would have to do.
On the way out of the lane a bicyclist with a map rode in to the end of the lane, came out again and entered the next lane. Another confluence hunter? Afterwards I saw on Google maps that that lane would probably have brought me closer to the c.p.
