25-Sep-2026 -- In September 2026, I went on a bicycle tour through the Landes and Gironde regions. On September 25, after passing through Lacanau, I arrived at the point located at 45°N, 1°W.

The point is situated in the forest of the Médoc Regional Natural Park, not far from the hamlet of Méogas. To reach it, I arrived via the road running from Lacanau to Brach. I left my bike by the bridge over the Déhesse stream, behind a reservoir, and followed a forest track on foot.

After walking 300 meters along the path, I turned right —heading south— and made my way through the vegetation toward the coordinates shown on my phone\\\'s GPS. I had to cover about 150 meters this way. The point lies amidst trees in a plot of young timber, an area rather overgrown with brambles and ferns. The surrounding view consists of trees.

After taking the photos, I retraced my steps to my bike before setting off again toward Bordeaux, to the east.
