04-Aug-2000 -- After attending a conference in Pittsburgh, I drove down to West Virginia for a brief vacation. On the drive down, I decided to make a short side trip to visit this confluence. This confluence had already been visited -- during the winter -- and I thought it might be interesting to see what the same area looks like during summertime.

Photo #1 shows the same view as the first photo from the original visit. (The large barn-like structure in the right of the original photo was apparently torn down and replaced with a small swimming pool.) Photo #2 shows a view of the St. Michael Archangel Church nearby.
