The day following to make 42ºN 2ºW, we went out to make the point 42ºN 1ºW. This one seemed very easy because it was only 1 kilometer away from the road. The reality is that a kilometer can be much more than 1000 meters. In fact it cost us more than one hour to arrive, since in straight line it is necessary to cross several barriers of dense vegetation. The point, that is in a narrow valley, did not allow to obtain very stable measures, as opposed to what happened in almost all the previous points. In fact, all-zero readings in the display corresponded to points separated up to 10 meters. For the way back, we chose a completely different path, much more comfortable, arriving to the road a few hundreds of meters from where we had left the car.

Al día siguiente de hacer el punto 42ºN 2ºO fuimos a hacer este punto. Este parecía bastante sencillo pues se encontraba a sólo 1 kilómetro de la carretera. La realidad es que un kilómetro puede ser mucho más que mil metros. De hecho nos costó más de una hora llegar allí, pues en línea recta hay que atravesar varias barreras de vegetación densa. El punto se encontraba en un estrecho valle y las medidas no eran nada estables , así la lectura de todos ceros me llevaba a puntos separados hasta 10 metros. A la vuelta elegimos un camino completamente diferente mucho más cómodo, alcanzando la carretera a unos cuantos cientos de metros del coche.
