27-Jul-2004 -- Our first confluence was pretty easy, well marked and easily accesible. A nice area both historically and nature wise...
I had planned this visit for some time, but in my eagerness to visit my first Confluence Point I had ignored some of the elementary stuff - like reading the requirements to enable me to post the visit. Thus I initially didn't submit any proper pictures...:-( I have learnt my lesson for the next CP visit - whenever that will be...
Anyhow, finally going to the southeast of Bornholm on July 27th, the Garmin 60C guided us neatly to the parkinglot just a stonethrow from the CP. A very nice area, a path leading down to the beach just a 100 meters from the CP, maybe 200 meters from the parking. Easy access, and the CP actually marked (by the locals?) by a wooden stick.
As the last picture shows, there is a cultural perl near by, one of the old mills of Bornholm. Quite interesting and a nice stroll from the CP and parking - don't miss it!
