We decided to visit the CP 51n, 2e a few months ago, and today, it was confluence day! This CP is on the shore line between Calais and Dunkerque, France. We checked the tides on the Internet, we planned how to drive, and of we go!
We arrived around 2 p.m. at the dunes of 'les Hemmes the Marck'. According to the tides on the Internet, the lowest sea level was at 6.30 p.m. Nevertheless, we tried to reach to CP. But, we failed, because the sea level wasn't low enough. Bert walked into the water and tried to reach the CP, but he could not come closer then 51.95n, 2.00e. We waited half an hour, and the sea level was low enough to walk to the CP without we got wet feet. Our visit was successful!
