21-Nov-2010 -- A weekend in Blighty, with some time to spare before flying out on Sunday afternoon, gave us an opportunity to visit N51 W1. We had spent a couple of hours in Guildford looking for a GPS for my son Michael, a seasoned coufluence visitor, and I realised an unvisited N51 W1 lay a few short miles down the A3 near Petersfield. Michael was not with us on this visit, but his uncle and my twin brother (can you tell?) Heny was making his first CP visit. He'd heard about it so many times before and was about to experience it for the first time.
So the Sat Nav was programmed and we simply followed the instructions, arriving an hour or so later after an uneventful trip. Heeding the requests not to enter the premises (hence the distant 50 metres specified in this visit) we took the usual photographs not having seen another soul and left after about 20 minutes.
Note: don't be fooled by the date in the GPS picture submitted it really was the 21st November 2010 and not 12th July 1992.
Congratlations to Heny on hs first CP visit; lets hope there are many more !!
