30-Sep-2011 -- We stayed in Warsaw during 2 days for a short visit before getting to Berlin for a professionnal meeting. The closest CP to the capital city is less than 20 km south and quite easy to reach by car so we decided to go for a round trip with a rented car for an afternoon and make a try on 52N 21E.
As already mentioned by previous visitors the CP is located 450 m east of a small road between the villages of Pecery and Piskorka. We stopped our car on the road side and walked through the field that isn’t cultivated any more for at least 2 years. The whole field is colonized by young shoots of trees that we couldn't identify but that we speculated to be willow trees.
The weather was really fine and the day was much like a late spring day.
We hit the CP on the East side of the field after crossing a small ditch already mentioned by previous visitors. After taking the cardinal pictures we went back to Warsaw and enjoyed the wonderful view over the royal castle on Zamkowy square.
