17-Aug-2013 -- There certainly has been a lot of tree felling, general clearance and new building since this confluence was first visited. The confluence itself appears now to be in a building plot - but no sign of recent activity.
After sorting out my disorientation (under the impression that Fishguard faces West toward Ireland when in fact it is North East) and doing a lot of hanging around I managed to get "all the zeros" without needing to cross any walls or gates, It does not seem that I was exactly in the same position as some previous visitors - but then it was exceptionally wet with much rain and thick clouds and with walls and tall buildings around the reported position jumped around quite a lot.
I was taking a nostalgic trip around South Wales in my old-but-trusty SAAB 99 - took me to several confluences in Sweden this summer but 38 metres is the closest we have been together. Locals who approached me more interested in the car than in why I had been wandering around in the wet for 30 minutes.
Note - this set were the last photos taken by my new camera before it had to go back to Canon for repair - next time I will take a plastic bag with me when I go confluence hunting.
Coordinator's Note: This CP is in the back garden of the house next to the lane,
