20-Сен-2015 -- Хорошая погода, наличие свободного времени и отсутствие больших путешествий в этом году побудили меня на эту поездку. Рано утром на машине я выехал из Саратова в сторону Пензы. В Кондоле я свернул с трассы Р-158 в направлении Старой Каменки. На главной улице посёлка я включил компьютер и поехал на северо-восток к первой цели. Дорога идёт мимо старого карьера, потом через лес и выводит к линии электропередач.

Точка расположена в Пензенском районе Пензенской области, в 2 км севернее села Новая Каменка. Точку впервые посетили в 2006 году. С тех пор сведений о посещениях нет, но кто-то установил столб с указанием координат и направления на север. Приятно, что такие указатели стали появляться и в России. Местность за это время изменилась. Теперь здесь не поле, а молодой сосново-берёзовый лес. Можно подъехать к слиянию на машине.

Вернувшись в Старую Каменку, я продолжил движение на запад в сторону ещё одной Каменки, к точке конфлюенции 53°N 44°E.

20-Sep-2015 -- I decided to make this journey because the weather was good, I had free time and I had not made any big trips this year. Early in the morning I set off Saratov by car in the direction of Penza. In Kondola I turned aside from the route R-158 towards Staraya Kamenka [Old Kamenka] villge. In the main street of the village I switched my computer on and went to the north-east direction towards my first goal. The road goes along an old pit, then along a forest and leads to power lines.

The confluence point is located in Penza district of Penza region, 2 km north of a village named Novaya Kamenka [New Kamenka]. The confluence point has been visited for the first time in 2006. Since then there was not any information about visits to this confluence, but somebody installed a pillar indicating the coordinates and north direction. It is good that such signposts have started to turn up in Russia. The landscape has changed over time. There is a young pine-and-birch forest here, not a field as it was before. It is possible to approach the confluence point by car.

I came back to Staraya Kamenka and then continued my journey to the west towards another Kamenka and another (53°N 44°E) confluence point.
