12-Aug-2015 -- Not a very interesting DCP. In a meadow, close to a busy road.
I started from the camping “municipal” of Nolay (46.950397°N 4.621826°E) in the neighbourhood of Beaune in the famous wine region Burgundy. It was a very hot day (up to 35° C), so I was very happy with the airco in the car.
A 130 km drive SSW brought me to Roanne. At the SW exit of Roanne I took the D53 which leads to the DCP only 3.5 km from the roundabout of the Boulevard Ouest (Ringway West).
After passing the DCP I turned right and right and right again and found a place to park the car close to the busy road.
Walking through the verge of the road I reached the DCP, situated in a meadow, as close as 26 m. Looking to the North you see my car and looking to the East you see the D53 direction Roanne. Looking to the South gives the building of the FAIENCE (pottery) atelier G. Lecrecq & J. Lardin. Looking to the West shows a rather flat area with hills at the horizon.
As mentioned before it was very hot, so not only the degrees latitude and longitude are of interest but also the degrees Celsius.
As usual some of the local plants are reported.
