21-Dec-2021 -- Erstmal versuche ich es immer wieder an kleinen Bergen. Da gibt es an den kleinen Straßen genug Gelegenheiten dafür. Der Starter geht nicht mehr. Ich überlege bis zum nächsten Punkt zu fahren und mich danach um eine Werkstatt zu bemühen.

Unterwegs achte ich auf Hinweise zu Werkstätten. Irgendwo ist eine Stelle für technische Kontrollen, wo die Einfahrt in die Halle offen steht. Ich parke mit laufendem Motor und mit Hilfe eines Übersetzers auf dem Smartphone erklärt der Mann mir, dass er kein Mechaniker ist.

Aber am nächsten Kreisverkehr soll ein Service-Punkt sein. Auf dem sehr schrägen Hof parke ich das Auto mit laufendem Motor. Ein Mechaniker schickt mich in ein kleines Büro und der Meister geht mit mir zum Auto. Ich mach es aus. Versuche zu starten und der Anlasser geht wieder… . Nach drei weiteren Versuchen freuen wir uns alle und meine Fahrt kann weiter gehen - von nun an mit der ständigen Sorge, dass der Starter wieder mal nicht geht.

Gegen 15:15 Uhr erreiche ich die kleine Straße die neben dem Feld mit dem CP von Norden auf die D53 kommt. Dort parke ich wieder so, dass das Auto anrollen könnte.

Ich gehe an der großen Straße bis etwa 50 Meter westlich des CP. Dort ist eine geeignete Stelle, um unter dem untersten Stacheldraht auf die Wiese zu kriechen.

Die Nullen sind schnell fixiert. Es ist gegen 15:30 Uhr und man bemerkt das es hier später dunkel wird.

Das Auto springt an und meine Fahrt nach Westen kann fortgeführt werden. Ich fahre bis etwa 15 km vor den nächsten CP und stelle mich mit meinem Bus für die sehr kalte Nacht auf einen schrägen Feldweg.

21-Dec-2021 -- First of all, I always try the small mountains. There are enough opportunities for that on the small roads. The starter doesn't work any more. I think about driving to the next point and then trying to find a workshop.

On the way, I look out for signs of workshops. Somewhere there is a place for technical checks where the entrance to the workshop is open. I park with the engine running. With the help of a translator on my smartphone, the man explains that he is not a mechanic.

But there is supposed to be an service point at the next roundabout. In the very steep yard I park the car with the engine running. A mechanic sends me to a small office and the master goes with me to the car. I turn it off. I try to start it and the starter works again... . After three more attempts we are all happy and my journey can continue - rom now on with the constant worry that the starter won't work again.

Around 3:15 pm I reach the small road next to the field with the CP coming from the north onto the D53. There I park again so that the car could start rolling.

I walk along the main road to about 50 metres west of the CP. There is a suitable spot to crawl under the lowest barbed wire onto the meadow.

The zeros are quickly fixed. It's about 3:30 pm and you notice that it's getting dark later here. The car starts and my drive west can continue. I drive to about 15 km before the next CP and park my bus on a sloping dirt road for the very cold night.
