18-Oct-2001 -- Like many autumns before we spent a vacation near Roanne.

On the confluence site we had seen that there was an unvisited confluence quite close to Roanne. Actually it looked like it was on the middle of the road we always took to and from Roanne. We had driven right over a confluence time after time, and never knew it! A few weeks before our holiday the confluence was visited, but we had to visit it anyway.

So, one day after the usual shopping we stopped the car and walked to the confluence. Being the only one tall enough to step over the barbed wire fence without nasty injuries Edwin went to find the exact spot. After walking about in the rain the spot was located, the pictures were taken and we went back to the car.
